3D modeling offers a realistic and easily understood image of the city and urban development projects; with numerically modeled buildings a wealth of details (roof and wall textures) are inserted in their environment.

3D allows cultural applications (virtual tours of the city with development of its assets) and also regulatory applications (conformity assessment in local plan).
